Sometimes the simplest pictures are the hardest to get…

Expertise Behind the Lens

I’ve always been drawn to moments that happen only once—the intensity of competition, the emotion on the sidelines, and the small interactions that tell the bigger story of an event.

I specialize in sports and event photography, combining a love of storytelling with a careful eye for timing, composition, and detail. Whether I’m photographing an athlete in the middle of the action or capturing the candid moments surrounding an event, my goal is to create images that don’t just document what happened—they let you experience it again.

That attention to detail comes naturally. I spent 40 years as an aerospace engineer, a career built around precision, problem solving, and noticing the details others might overlook. I bring that same critical eye behind the camera, while never losing sight of the emotion and personality that make a photograph memorable.

For me, great photography is a combination of anticipation, technical precision, and storytelling—knowing where to be, recognizing the moment before it happens, and capturing it when everything comes together.
